Navigating The Table with Jabu Dayton

In this week's episode of Secure The Seat, I interview Jabulile (Jabu) Dayton. We discuss how to navigate the workplace (the table). Jabu Dayton is the straight-talking Chief Officer of People and Inclusion at Abstract, as well as the CEO of her own consulting business, Jabu HR Inc. Formerly at early Airbnb and TaskRabbit, she has a background that includes 18 years of corporate and start-up HR and People Ops, 4 years of consulting with some of the most forward-thinking startups in the world. She has a strong foundation of knowledge and experience in all the boring HR stuff, as well as the more complex spaces of People Operations, where power intersects with opportunities for inclusion and equality. Most importantly, she is the dog mom to the world famous Biscuits Jackson. Connect with Jabu on LinkedIn or visit her personal website.
